A New Priest in God’s Church

On Sunday 5th July Mthr Marieke Sybrandi celebrated her first Mass following her ordination the previous day.

We gathered with immense joy as this is the first time a woman has celebrated her first Mass at St George the Martyr in our 900 year history.

Mthr Marieke will continue to serve as Assistant Curate here for the next 2-3 years and we look forward to her ministering as Priest among us.
