In prayer, we discover a deep and transformative connection between us and God. Whether in personal reflection or shared moments, prayer guides us, shaping our inner selves and influencing how we live in the world. It's a dynamic communion with the divine, weaving the threads of our souls into the sacred fabric of existence

Intercession

In our worship, we gather to join our prayers together in petition for the needs of the Church and the world, and for all who are in need. All Christians are called to share in the ministry of Christ’s intercession for the whole world.

We often pray with language which comes from the Bible and from the texts of our liturgy. But we knit together these words and images with ideas which come from our own hearts and from the communities in which we pray.

Remembrance

Recalling departed family and friends can be a painful process, especially when a loved one has died recently. Yet, in liturgical gatherings, remembrance extends beyond the past; it also invites us to gaze forward with trust and hope into the future, confident in God’s mercy and love.

We specifically hold the names of the departed before God during low mass at 1pm on Wednesday, and on Sunday mornings at our Parish Mass.

If there is a name that you would like us to include, please email hello@borough.church

If you would like us to remember you in prayer, or to speak to and pray with a priest privately,
